Have you thought about doing a 4.10 gear swap instead of the 3.9s?? Walt
claims someone, I think Randy's Ring & Pinion(http://www.ring-pinion.com/)
has them for the 7.25/8.25 diffs for our Daks. I am pretty sure Walt
currently had the 4.10s put in his Dak during his rehash project. I guess
your locker choice will come down to what is available for the 8.25 Dak.

I would suggest calling Randy's R&P(toll free) and asking him what is
available and what he suggests. I have read alot about the company online
and in 4WD mags, and all the comments are very positive. Anyone know what
else is available for the 8.25 rear diff Dakotas?
