No, those indicator lights are there to give the driver information.
The emergency brake being on isn't an abnormal condition, yet it's in
that same area. Same with the 4WD Part Time light. If the OD can be
turned off, having it off is not an "abnormal conditon" - the light is
there to remind the driver that the button has been pushed.
