Last week I brought in my 98 V6 to my dealer because I was experiencing the
same problem in addition to my Dak not being able to maintain an idle after
I would restart it. The dealer reported that my QuickD throttle body was
not tightened done enough. Even though I had removed and reinstalled it the
day before. The dealer also said they had to reset the values in the
computer to account for the changes with the modified throttle body. By
reset they said they hard coded in new values. The problem has gone away so
far. I would check to make sure that the throttle body is torqued down
properly and that there is no air leaks around the gasket and mating area to
the intake plenum.

Subject: DML: Wanting to stall
Within the last week or so, my truck seems like it wants to stall/die when
idling at stop lights in gear. While it hasnt died yet, it just really seems
like it wants to. Anything I can check on my truck? The spark plugs, dist
cap, rotor, and fuel filter has only 3500 miles on them all. On Sunday I
dropped the tank and put a new fuel pump assembly in. Yesterday I removed
the throttle body and completely cleaned it along with the AIS sensor. All
new TB sensors also. New FMS #19 injectors were put on 4-5 months ago. Fuel
system cleaner ran through the gas every oil change. I can only think that
maybe the Accel Super Coil could be failing? Thanks.
