Those pitman arms are sometimes a pain to get off. A guy at work had a snap
on pitman arm puller (cast) and he had to hammer on it with a very powerful
snap on impact (big snap on fan) for almost a minute at full blast to knock
it loose.
My advice? call around to see how much a shop would charge to do it and if
they give you "flat rate" hours and it seems fairly low. go for it!

zone was pretty stout looking (for cast alum.), does anyone know where I
can get an iron puller without haveing to pay a fortune (they get pretty
expensive)? BTW, auto zone gave me my $20 deposit back even though I
returned the part broken.
Any input would be appreciated...thanks
