WATER (lots of it)(long, but I need advise on this)

I can barely stand to admit to this. It's 2:20 am, the lady and I just got
home from a friends house. All day today we've had rain. A lot of it. I get
to an underpass, one notorious for flooding, and the water looks to be about
a foot and a half deep. Soooo, I go for it. Get in, go through, and on my
way back out, I see a car coming toward me. I slow down to flag him, and
guess what? The truck stalls. Won't fire back up. So, I get out, walk about
30 or so yards to a pay phone. A Z71 Silverado pulls up. He had a small but
long rope. So, we back him up, tie the rope, and he starts forward before I
get the E-brake off. Rope breaks. By now the local cops are at both sides of
underpass and have called a wrecker. I say NO WAY! A guy in a diesel Ford
shows up with a recovery strap and pulls me out. Now, here's the problem. By
the time I got hooked up the ford, the water was all the way up to the
bottom of the door jamb (sp). Keep in mind that I was on an incline, so the
water may have reached the collector at the headers, but no further up.I
really don't think it got past the converter. After we got it out, I took a
look under the hood and everything was dry(open element filter, Whew!!).
Started the truck, it stumbled for about 20 minutes, stalled a couple times.
So, I fire it back up, and drive away. On my way home, the truck ran good
and idles now and runs now with no problems. Is there anything I should
check out?? Be worried about?? What would you do??TIA
