GenIII Dakota Problems

What seem to be the more prevalent or most common problem problem with the
GenIII 4WD Automatic Dakotas?

-Blown Belly Pan Gaskets
-Pinging Problem
-Ball Joints Wearing Out Fast

Just need to know what to look for, if I were looking for. The belly
pan/pinging also seems to only affect the typical Magnum Engines(3.9L, 5.2L,
5.9L) and not the 'Next-Generation Magnum' 4.7L, is this correct?
