I have a 2000 Dakota and at 12000 mi I had to have my brakes "Pro-Cut"
because of such a bad pulsation and shudder when the brakes are applied, and
now at 27000 the problem is back and I cant see shelling out 150 bucks and
wasting my Saturday morning every 12000 mi or so. Do any of you have any
idea of a brand name of replacement rotors to get to solve this problem. I
only do highway driving in rush hour traffic.
Another idea I have is do any of you know if the Durango rotors are the
same, because my parents own one and drive it up and down a 2.5 mi hill
twice a day at least 6 times a week and the brakes on that are fine. The
hill is a 15% grade and if you cant imagine how steep it is it is steep
enough that it is named Breakneck Hill.
