The truck was driven a 8 hour shift of a security patrol about 150 miles and
the driver brought it to the shop the next morning because it was loosing power
and oil was foaming out of every hole in the engine that it could find its way
out of. ?When the oil was drained it filled a little over 2 gallon jugs.

It appears that rod bearing damage is noticeable and probably the main bearings
also. the engine runs ok and does not miss or smoke but rattles badly when you
start it up and anytime you get over about 2500 rpm is sounds like a diesel. I
don't think the oil change place has admitted forgetting to drain the oil
before changing the filter and refilling it though. We will obviously have to
replace or rebuild the engine again.
