do you have full time 4x4/all wheel drive, or do you have manual
shift-into-4x4?
If you have the full time, it is normal for it to be more difficult to
turn, and you should see another tire/tires spinning at the same time
(assuming all 4 are off the ground) and more difficult than that if only
1 is off the ground. This is due to the awd mechanism.
If you got the "old style" 4x4 system where you engage it into 4wd, it
sounds like it's locked in and hasnt released. On some trucks with auto
locking hubs, you have to back up, then go forward again to release the
autolock.
