With an auto tranny, it only engauges in P or N
With manual tranny, it only engauges when clutch pushed.

I have never tried it myself... not enough straight road in Vermont to get
up over 102MPH ;-)

There are some folks on the DML website that claim to have bypassed the
speedlimiter in some "less stressful" way... not sure what they did.
