Hey Rich,
Thanks for the great report on the gibson exhaust system. That response
pretty well clinched my decision. I was thinking of the very system you are
running. Do you also run a cold-air intake system by chance? I am in the
process of replacing the factory air filter box with the K&N "fipk" cold air
system. Have you tried any other modifications? I will probably just make
these two changes to my Dakota ('99 ext cab, 5.2L auto.) One more
question...did you have to do a reset on the PCM once the exhaust system was
changed? I'm thinking that the computer will self-compensate with the
appropriate fuel mixture change once driven. Thanks for your assistance !!
