Is there something that I can put on the O-rings to help slide the sparkplug
coil in to position on the plugs? Think that the O-rings are getting chewed
up from sliding against the bare metal in the holes.

Oh how I love Wal-Mart. The O-rings can be found at a Lowes hardware store in the bulk section, very cheap in prices, the Dealer will rob ya blind, the O-rings may be a little fater in diameter but this will seal tighter..
