stealing daks?

I partied a little too hard on the 4th this year, only to wake up at
my friends house to find my truck was gone. You guys can imagine how I
must have felt.. I called it into the police, and they called me back
2 days later to let me know they found it abandoned, and had impounded
it.

I was in complete shock while my friend took me to the towing yard, I
didn't want to face what damage could have been done. To my surprise,
nothing was damaged. They put gas in the car, left some groceries, some
cd's, some uh.. smokeable substances, and needles from their apparent
diabetes problems ;) the only thing missing is my camera, and a
subwoofer; needless to say, I'm very happy with how it all turned out..

Anyway, my question is:

How easy is it to steal a Dakota? When the truck was taken, there was
no glass on the ground where I had parked it, I figured maybe it was a
professional job... but the items left in the truck suggest that it was
just some joyriders.. the steering column wasn't cracked open.. the
ignition was fine... maybe they had some dealer keys or something?

Any ideas?
