Hey, Don!

<snip>the needles that move and point at some numbers are named "gage" I
never noticed this before but what is a gage? I was brought up with the
spelling as "Gauge"<snip>

Funny, I thought the same thing - til I entered into a machinist
apprenticeship. They spelled it "gage", too.Even in the "Machinist's
Handbook" the spelling it the same way. Unfortunately, we had to take some
technical writing in the apprentice school & we drove the teacher nuts. She
just couldn't believe that 37 guys could misspell the same word!

DAK content: Got the Flowmaster 50 Series on the DAKSY. NICE! All the ricer
dudes at work are now ashamed of the little eggbeater sounds coming from
their Eclipses, Accords & 626s! (heeheehee)
