All good suggestions Bob, but I have a question. When did they make the
in-tank filter non-replaceable? Curious cause I just changed my in-tank
filter when I replaced my fuel gauge sending unit. It's a pleated paper
type that just clips onto the bottom of the pump in mine. I also have an
in-line filter but presume they did away with that when they changed to the
return-less fuel system.
Having to replace the pump to service the filter sounds like a pretty
self-serving configuration for Dodge. The more I learn the more I'm pleased
with my old Gen II.:)
