Kevin-

Your last part is funny. My buddy and I where talking about the same
thing. I don't think you can run gear lube because it is to thick. But
why not oil??? We couldn't figure it out either.
I have been running mobil 1 sys. in my trans and transfer case from day
one. I have 190,000 on my 98 and no problems. And I beat on the transfer
case when I'm off road.
