Ok I'll be totally upfront and honest. Christine has no engine installed and
the entire front clip of the truck has been removed. I have 4 days to
rebuild it - with only one day off from work. To be totally honest the odds
of me actually making it - are very much agaisnt me. The next two days will
determine if I make it or not. Assuming I do make it... I will be in chicago
tuesday night so I can leave early tuesday morning. I want to take us up
through canada - - Josh - I'm going to do some investigative work tomarrow to
see if I can't make sure you will be able to cross the border. Adam? Any
assistance you might be able to offer would be appreciated. Specifically the
phone number to whatever canadian goverment agency I can call to try and
figure out exactly what is required for border crossing. I remember that last
year I had my birth certificate with me and I "THINK" they did look at it -
but when Jon, Ed and I went up to Toronto for performace world - they just
checked our licences. Granted that was over by NY and not MI.

Jon... Adam... Josh... can you guys email me a phone number that I can call to
get in touch with you guys if something comes up - - lately I;ve been living
life on the edge around here . I cant always get to the computer - - not to
mention when on the road... if something comes up I can ring you guys from my
cell phone.

I am really pushing myself well beyond my limits to pull this off... I've put
lots of money , time and blood into that Fooking truck - and its gonna make it
there if it sthe last thing I do! Also - I read on one web site while
researching border crossings - - you ARE allowed to bring a certain amount of
alcohol across? is that true? Lemme know if anyone knows. I wanted to bring
a case of local brew for those interested.
