Nope, it's:
A) What you eat
B) How much you eat
C) (most important) How much you *use*
Look at the guys on the Tour de France. They're eating probably 6000
calories, mostly in carbohydrates, every day. If you or I did that,
we'd blow up like a balloon.
Take a look at Jered from Subway
(http://www.subway.com/subwayroot/MenuNutrition/Jared/jaredStats.aspx).
He ate nothing but their subs (how boring), but he also worked off the
few carbs he was ingesting, plus some of what he had stored (all that fat).
Caffeine just screws with your metabolism. The better way to kick-start
it in the morning is with a light, sensible breakfast.
