I'd say to just turn it on and use an htaccess file to disallow bandwidth
leeching. you can put up a *really* nasty image in it's place if it's
remotely displayed. I recently discovered htacces files and this is what
i've done so that nobody posts my images on any site that's not approved by
me. :-)
