Hey, Walt!
<snip>... Crank Sensor. I had a similar problem with my '88.
When it did occasionally start, it would only run for
about 10 or 15 minutes then shut down and wouldn't restart again. Drove me
nuts trying to find the problem because the ECM was spewing various
codes<snip>
Ok...I believe everybody! I procured one from my Parts Mgr bud (for $59 -
list $86!) & changed the crank sensor today...MOF, just got done...2 hours
of muttering & cursing about the location & the fact that there is something
near the upper of the two bolts which precludes the use of a socket on it
AND that there is not enuff room to get a 1/2 inch (13mm) open-end wrench to
turn very far....
Then, after finally getting the bolts out, trying to unplug the damn thing!
*SHEEEEEESH*
Ennyhoo, she's back together, runs smoothly & best of all, the MIL is not
on!
Thanx again for all the DML input!
<snip> Ingrid really wants a Crossfire Convertible. Not a bad looking
ride.<snip>
I AGREE! Susan & I saw one the other day & it's definitely a LOOKER!
