RE: Shocks and Ride Quality

Ray, I realize that. I'm not asking for the truck to ride like a car. But
I do know that these Bilsteins ride quite a bit harsher than the no-name
shocks the shop put on 4 years ago. The change from the the old shocks to
the new ones got me a lot less recoil after bumps which I like, but i can
feel every crack in the road many times. For me to get a smooth ride, I
have to be on brand new asphalt. And these trucks aren't really made to
support a heavy load, I had 1000 lbs in my bed a few weeks ago and the truck
squatted like you wouldn't believe, tranny got so hot it heat-soaked the
starter for 10 minutes after the truck was off. I realize that many forget
they have trucks on here but trust me I'm not one of them.
