Got my 2bbl and F&B 55x52mm TB installed (swapped from a 4bbl-M1 and a 52mm F&B)--- previous was 290 @ 5450 rpm / 325 tq. @ 3800 rpm-- NEW #'s = 302 hp @ 4900 rpm / 350 tq. @ 3900 rpm-- have over 300 ft. lbs. from 2900 rpm - 5000 rpm--- it runs really good, I think I'll stick with the 2bbl.
I even raced my wife's 73 440 T&C Wagon down the track for the first (and only time)... Ran a dismal 2.7 60' time (thermoquad--err bog carb, car nearly fell over and stalled when I floored it from idle)--- 11.xx 1/8th mi @ 65.6 mph, and a mighty 17.10 @ 84 mph in the 1/4-- woohoo! Not bad for a 5000# car-- w/ full tank of gas.
