Maybe it's me, but that seems a little weird to me. I'd think that for a
truck that's already 4 years old and has 40k on the clock that they'd just
total it if it needed frame replacement. The parts and labor to have that
done would almost be as much as the truck is worth I'd think.

What insurance company is doing this?
