Does the Magnum engine have timing marks on the block and
the harmonic balancer? If it does, its probably just a single
mark on the block and either 1, 2 or 4 grooves on the balancer,
however even if it only has that, you can use an "advance"
style timing light to determine your current timing. (You
basicaly turn the dial on the light to line up the marks,
and read the dial to see what your timing is set at.) Of
course, you won't actually be able to change the timing, but
at least you'll be able to tell if its in the ballpark or not.

I assume you've tried pulling the codes, and if so, no help
there? Other silly little "just in case" items to check would
be the spark plugs and wires (verify the routing if they were
removed to be sure they were reinstalled in the right order).
