when i look at car magazines at Borders/B&N, i purposely skip over sport
truck, truckin' and all of the ricer magazines. they are all intended to
satisfy the urges of the posers, and not people who are interested in
knowing about in-depth technical knowledge.

i'll stick to car craft, PHR, and the Mopar mags out there.

<rant start>

Anyone get this magazine? Unfortunately, I get it.

why does it suck? Aside from the fact that there's nothing but bowties in
each issue, they have outdone themselves this time.

the new issue (the one with the Chevy on the front..... wait.... I guess
that doesn't really narrow it down huh?), Has an article on Dodge Dakota 4.7
power pack. Upon flipping to the article (pg 118) and they are showing a
Dakota, but there is nothing 4.7 about it! It's a 318. It's a 97-99 CC 318.
No fender flares, 15x7 stocker rims. You can tell by the obvious 2bbl TB on
top of the engine (4.7's don't have this), and the aftermarket intake that
couldn't dream of fitting a 4.7. Also, they show the stock intake and it's
DEFINITELY not a 4.7 intake. Don't they pay Editors to double check this
stuff?!

this magazine has a "project R/T". yet they don't know the difference
between a 4.7 and a 318????

ATTENTION SPORTTRUCK MAGAZINE: YOU SUCK!!!!!!!

I won't even get into the fact that STOCK trucks get into the "readers
rides" section....
