since I'm going to be using the 360 and 46RH together, and they're already
bolted together, this doesn't make much sense to me.
I'm expecting that the newer manual transmission PCM is a good match for
the non-electronic automatic. I can put in manual switches for lockup and
overdrive, and short the PCM's clutch safety so it'll always let it start.
Only other concern may be that I think the automatic PCMs bump up idle
when in gear and this setup won't do that.
Also, it's going in a '97 Wrangler that currently has the 2.5L four in it,
not my '98 Dakota. I'm happy enough with my nearing-140,000 318, I don't
see a 360 as enough of a step up to bother replacing an engine that's
running well. For a 390 or 408, sure, but not just a stock 360.

very good to know, thanks. I'd forgotten that the '94 motor will be EGR
and that the '02 PCM would get confused by that.
