I have a feeling that I have a front wheel hub going bad (2001 4x4). Is
there any way to know for sure? (Preferably that doesn't involve removing
the brake rotor.)
What's making me suspect it is:
- A lot of grease on the wheel and in the well
- A low "grinding" noise... actually I feel it more than hear it
- My '95 had similar symptoms at about the same mileage, and it was the hub.
