After 3 months of waiting, I should be picking up my
Dakota next week! Am I excited? Oh yeah...

So let me ask you all something. When I pick it up,
what things should I pay close attention to when I
check it over? This is an SLT+, CC, 4x4, 5spd, V8
with 3.55 SG. The color? Brilliant Blue.

I've been on this list since January, and remember
the following discussions with the 97's

        + Coolant smell from AC... Was this ever resolved?
        + Oil leaks...
        + Wind whistle/whine (or was it gearbox/transfer case?)
        + Black paint sprayout from wheel wells and
          other various paint problems.
        + Alignment/tire wear (will watch for this)
        + Chrome bumber rust (will watch for this, too)

Did I forget anything?

BTW - Found out that it was made without the extended
payload option. Option was discontinued.

Oh yeah. I'll make sure to keep an eye open for
fkying attack turkeys :-)

I've really enjoyed your discussions over the past 4
months. I may even put in a K&N filter or something
like that...
