Welcome aboard Ken! Sounds like a nice truck. A few more horses, eh?
Well let me tell ya, heh, heh. This is what ya need to do. Cheap mod.
Nice improvement. Looks cool too.

- Edelbrock Signature Series 10" dia. chrome air cleaner. P/N 1208. (I've
been told Erson 10" works also)

- K&N 10"x2.25" (I have p/n's of taller sizes if you think they'll fit) air
filter p/n e-1080.

- length of 1/4" threaded rod or small 1/4" thread u-bolt.

- short length of emissions hose for driver's side breather

1) Remove stock air box, air cleaner, throttle body hat, breather
hose/tube, and hold down bracket assm.

2) Throw them away. (just kiddin' but that's what I did after how
successful this mod was)

3) Squeeze K&N into Edelbrock filter can. K&N has a funny idea of what 10"
is. It fits though.

4) Bend rod or u-bolt to have 7/8" offset and place in throttle body.

5) Install new air cleaner assembly

6) Install new length of emissions hose between breather and cleaner.

7) Take 'er for a spin and hold on to yer hat. I'd say at least 10hp.
Great sound too. If you love the sound of the secondaries openin' on a
carb you'll love this mod. I'd venture the mileage has improved but it's
hard to tell with my foot in the gas all the time. ;^)

8) Show all yer friends how cool it looks.

9) Enjoy the coolest truck on the planet.

Hey, how many of ya have this FABM mod now anyway? ;^)
