I have the 'Meldrum Filter' setup on my V6. Yesterday, I hopped in the
truck and didn't let it wamr up much and took off. The engine was
really sluggish, so I stomped on it and the damned thing BACKFIRED.
This really concerns me.
Why would this happen? I have had the K&N for about a month now and
it's super dirty. How often do you guys clean yours (with the open
element setup)?
