Hey Sam,
J/K means just kidding (I just learned recently from someone
else online, so don't feel bad)... Never had that problem with a seatbelt,
the most I've ever had to do is pull it once, and it would retract, but
who knows, as you say may just be a crummy design for last couple of
years. I guess as long as it still locks when you slam on brakes that's
all that really matters though.
