Guys:

I have the 6x9 power mirrors and have a bit to add to this. Adjusting the
mirrors precisely seems to cover the blind spot...ie. vehicle passing on
left appears in peripheral vision about the same time as it disappears in
the mirror. The mirror is wide enough to see around a small house trailer
and my boat trailer without using an add-on.

The fold in feature is handy. I got 'mirror clipped' by a jerk who was
over way over center line in a Toyota 4x4. The mirror popped in and only
cracked the lens. Now, since CC doesn't offer replacement lenses, I got a
new mirror out of the deal, but you can buy after-market glass that fits.
I did, now I have a spare drivers side mirror.

I didn't want power mirrors either, but it was the only way to get the
larger folding mirror.
