I did some checking on this, and what seems to have happened
is that moparalley.org was gatewaying the mailing list to its
public NNTP server, to a newsgroup called list.dakota. Once
a post is on a public Usenet server, its almost sure to wind up
on dejanews. I have sent a message to the admin of moparalley.org,
asking them to shut down the gateway.
