I LOVE THIS TRUCK !!!!!

I just finished hauling a u-haul "autotransporter" (very heavy) with my
'83 Toyota 4x4 (stormchasing vehicle) on the trailer from northern
Virginia to western Kansas.

This '97 V8 4x4 CC 5-spd has some serious power. It pulled the trailer
at just about any speed I wanted. I occassionally had to downshift to
4th (with a 20 mph headwind) but could do 70 to 75 mph uphill.

Gas mileage ran between 9 to 11 mph. After I dropped the truck and
trailer off in Kansas, I went to visit family in Denver. I had it on
cruise control at 80 mph and averaged about 16.5 mpg. Leaving Denver
early this morning, I put it in 4 wheel drive (4 to 6 inches of snow on
the road). No problems their either.

To sum it up, I could pull the trailer and truck at 70 to 75 mph with
power to spare. I wasnt pushing more than 2500 rpm.
