find something else though that I have been running for about a month now. I
went to Home Depot and started looking at various pieces of tubing and
couplings with the original intent of picking up some PVC and an elbow or
something to make the bend when I happened across a product called "Semi
Flexible Aluminum Tubing". It would appear that this stuff is intended for
clothes dryer exhaust outlets. Now this is not the same plastic stuff that
cannot hold it's own wieght. This is thin wall aluminum that is made simular
to a plasitc drinking straw. It is about 28" long, and is 3" ID. It cost
$4.88 plus tax. I picked up a rubber coupler for the intake hat and just
stuck the K&N on the other end. The only down side I can see with this is
that the inside is not perfctly smooth and in fact has ery small ridges it
whole length. But I don't really see this as being a problem as the tube is
still much straighter than the factory acrobatics tube.
