I'm surprised to hear you say that Jeff said that since they are
specifically mentioned on the parts list and included with '92-'95 Dakota
headers. I don't know what year Dakota you own, but perhaps it is other
than these years and, therefore, doesn't need this part and that was what
Jeff was meaning to say.
In any event, the donuts that I got with my headers (a '95) are two
pieces of rough cut steel that resemble large, concave washers or a wide
bottom funnel.
