are lower profile tires going to give you? Most 4x4'ers I know want
more sidewall to give 'em better traction off-road. I guess you're
not planning on taking it off road . . . ? I'm trying to imagine the
look and it just isn't a pretty picture in my head. If I'm not gett'n
it, please explain further.

If I had a 4x4 (wish they made the R/T 4x4) I would have tried to get 18's and
low profile tires and lower it too. Not all people who buy 4x4's go off-
roading with them. I wish I had 4 wheel drive for getting to work on an icy
day. Granted 4 wheeling is fun (I used to have an 87 1/2 ton Chevy Silverado
with a 4" suspention lift and 3" body lift and 33" tires but, I never got
around to using it enough to make it worth its while so,I sold it.) Is there a
lowering kit for the 4x4 Dakota? I know Bell Tech has them for the new Ford
F-150s. I'd love to see a slammed 4 wheel drive Dakota with a v-8...kinda
like the GMC Syclone...1 Bad-ass Truck! Just my .02
