Mine is aluminum, with a black coating over it, probably what you are
talking about. That is the same vibration I was getting also.

P.S. It cost me $45 for the balancing, and an extra $25 if the shop
were to drop the drive shaft.

Chris, What material is your drive shaft made of ? Mine looks like
fiberglass (coated).
Was on a trip last week and thought I felt a high vibration when passing
someone @ about 80 - 90. Didn't know if it was tires or what.
