Actually I measured my last setting on the pot and it was 4.5K not 2K as I
had posted earlier. Going higher actually had no effect at all. I measured
the IAT at 160 engine temperature and came up with a value of 600 ohms. Dead
cold it showed about 3K and hot showed 200 ohms. I wrote most of these down
so I am pretty sure of these. Remember all of this is very experimental and
you should follow at your own risk, I have had the "check engine" light come
on while testing.

|I forget who first posted saying they were using a 2k
|ohm resistor, Mark K. maybe?? Anyway, I've checked my
|IAT sensor at various temps w/ an ohmmeter, 2k ohm is
|the reading after driving over 100miles.... So this
|would tend to make a cold motor run real lean. Has
|anyone else measured their IAT resistence? I'm
|curious to know if perhaps OBD II will use a different
|set of IAT resistence values than my OBD I.
