Hey everyone,
I need some trouble shooting advice! I have 97 Dak with a 318, auto, a K&N
(10-inch)air filter, MSD 6 off-road ignition and blaster coil, Taylor 8.5mm
wires, and a custom cat back system. Now for the problem! I changed plugs
this weekend (Sunday). I gapped the plugs at .050 and drove the truck!
Everything seemed great! Then on Monday morning at the first stop sign, the
truck backfired once, caught and continued to run! It hasn't done it since
and seems to be running better than ever!
Oh yeah, I used champion truck plugs as recommended by DMLer's
Any Ideas?
