Check the URL for the oil filter study closely... Mopar does NOT make
filters.. they just repackage WIX or Fram filters.. and the author of that
site had a Fram fail on him, clogging the oil passages in his engine's head
after the filter media disintegrated... I think that's what prompted him to
do the study.
