Subject: Help! Has anyone got a new vehicle under the Lemon Law?

Some of you have probably wondering why there have been no updates to my
webpage page recently, the reason is that my truck developed transmission
problems in July and has been in and out of service since. As a matter of
fact, Today makes day # 33. I have already given Chrysler Corp. the Lemon
Law notification.

If anyone has had a Lemon Law case, please let me know what they are going
to offer. I really just want my truck back, but I may never get the truck
back because the Michigan Lemon Law gives the dealer a maximum of 30 days to
fix any problem with the vehicle. Last I checked, the transmissions are
back-ordered for another 7 days, unfortunately, my truck has now been in
service for 33 days! Looks like I might be getting a new truck or a payoff.

If you were wondering what was wrong, I have made up a list of the problems
below

Date, Duration, Problem(s) / Solution(s).

07/12/1999 1 day
Broken cup-holder, fog lights inoperative, transmission not shifting into
3rd gear. Cup holder was replaced, light switch
was replaced, no work done on transmission, rescheduled
for 07/26/1999.

07/26/1999-07/30/1999 5 days
Scheduled for transmission work, problem getting worse.
Nothing was done until a tech test-drove it just before close
of business on 7/28/99, I was told the parts were ordered.
By 07/30/1999, the parts had still not shown up and I was
told the tech was leaving on vacation that day. I picked up the vehicle and
called the Chrysler Customer Service
Department.

08/26/1999-09/22/1999 28 days
Excuses given; (1) wrong parts were ordered, (2) parts are
backordered, (3) a tool needed to be ordered for the work,
(4) the tool company lost the order because of a computer
crash, (5) new transmission was ordered, (6) it was the wrong transmission,
(7) another transmission is on order, (8) we dont break em', we just fix
them!
