v6 dakota towing specs...

Okay, I have a REAL truck duty for the dakota this weekend. I will need to
haul about 5,000 pounds of stuff about 900 miles. My question is...

"Will a lowered 97 dakota v6 automatic be able to do this feat?"

It is dropped 2 up front and 2 in the rear (well, 4 inches, but the 2"
blocks WILL go off) I have a roll pan so I am deciding to just remove it
and install a regular hitch. I'd like to have bought a hidden hitch, but
time probably won't allow me to do so.

My question is... Will the dakota be able to do this? It's ALL highway and
I will be taking frequent stops in between. I have an overall 3.80 rear end
due to a 3.55 diff and a 275-35-18" tire combo. I am deciding to put the
factory rims and tires on there so I don't use up the hella expensive 18"
rubber. Please tell me I can haul 5,000 pounds in the "anemic" dakota....
I also have a set of load stablizer bars for the leaf springs, so I was
wondering if that'd help it too...

As for a hitch, what is a good high quality hitch? I already have all the
wiring and everything setup. Where is a good place to purchase one the
hitch tho? Probably gonna hit "chuck's trucks" in kansas tomorrow and go
along all the parts stores to see what they have but I don't know... You
experts on towing tell me! You can haul a big boat, huh? so why not about
5,000 pounds in a u-haul type pull behind ordeal?
