Hello everyone: After 8 great years, I'm selling my '93 Dakota Long Bed
(link to ad below). My growing family means that I need an extended cab. I
have LOVED the 318 but now that Daimler-Chrysler has discontinued it I am
forced to deciede between the 4.7L with the 5-Speed or go for the Auto and
the 5.9L. I tow a RV trailer that weighs about 4,000 lbs. I would appreciate
any and all comments about these two engine - transmission combinations. I'm
particularly interested in any insight as to how the new auto tranny handles
towing.
