George and all,
i have been in contact with Rick Weingard at Transgo (626) 443-4953. He
is the sales manager (I think). The price of a calibration kit
(includes install video, drill bits, all the parts and gaskets) is
anywhere from 130.00 list to the 80.00 I have seen posted here on the
list. I am trying to get a group buy going on these (along with Russ
and Colin) but I am momentarily stuck waiting for the info kit from
Transgo that should have been shipped out next day air two weeks ago,
wasnt and was supposedly sent out next day yesterday. Transgo is
willing to make us a group offer but has not set a firm price since we
had not started a list. The list is now started, and I count 6 takers
(+1 since I need 2 kits). I personally do not see a down side to
putting in a calibration kit (all of my vehicles with autos have them.)
unless you hate to feel your car/truck shift. Some mech skills are
required. The kit is good for 518s/500s 44rh/re, 46 rh/re and 727
transmissions (may also work on a 904 but I did not ask. BOTTOM LINE: I
will get a price from transgo based on "the list" and then well see how
many more "bite".

manufacturer (damn...))" Bridges

Can somone tell me how much it will cost for the 96 A-518 (46RE)? If the
price
is right, count me in too.
