Well folks, after some research, I'm considering a local source for a
muffler and installation. The muffler is the DynoMax and the shop says I
should also consider an alternate called the MagnaFlow.
I considered Gibson, looked into mail ordering a DynoMax kit, but the
local shop is willing to do the stainless DynoMax muffler and a custom
mandrel bent tailpipe for ~$220 installed. The price is hard to pass up,
but I'm concerned about getting good performance without too loud an
exhaust note.
Anybody know enough to compare the 3 choices, DynoMax, Gibson or
Magnaflow.
