My 44RE is dieing very shortly after swapping in a 360 with mods. I am
looking to replace the 44 with a more stout tranny.
Is the 46RE a drop in replacement, does it have the same bolt pattern, are
gear ratios the same, is it the same length, will it wire up the same, will
the PCM like it?
I think I read that there is a 47 model tranny? Same questions as before?
Does anyone make performance trannies like B&M does for the Chevys?
Thanks.
Whit
