Top Dead Center?

I dont know if that was the correct term my TSR used, but basically it wants
me to make sure cyl 4 is at the top... when I go to yank my timing
chain/gears... I was wondering how one might know that the 4th cylinder is
at the top. I know its kinda a dumb question, but I never really did TOO
much engine work....
