Isn't 4wd Great!!!

After listening to various members toll the virtures of a 4wd Dakota for the
past few months, I eagerly awaited Victoria's first major snowfall after
gettting my new Dakota (sometimes this takes three or four years to occur).

Well, it happened last night. My neighbour has someone's Ford high-centered
on the curb in his front yard, cars off the road everywhere, the milkman got
stuck in front of my house. About 20 cm of wet, slippery stuff fell as only
can happen on the coast ... not the dry fluffy snow that flatlanders enjoy.

Maybe for the first time in about ten years, Victoria will have a white
Christmas.

Everything you have said is true. With no weight in the back, it's got
traction galore (even in 2wd) and it has a stable secure feeling. I'm sure
the sure-grip and rear wheel anti-locks have a lot to do with this.

Now, as long as I can keep clear of the nuts out there with summer tires on!!!
