What rpms' were you turning in 4th?? With the 3.21
gearing it must of been somewhere in the high 3's- mid
4000 rpm??? With the 3.90 100-102 seems to be the tops
for my 4th gear, but drop into 5th, and 102- becomes 110 just
as fast as 95-100 in 4th... I didn't go beyond that...And it was
on a hill (4 mile runup before the hill), and I was still accelerating.

What's this I've been hearing about Tacoma pickups??
I tried one yesterday on the way home... After about 45
mph I was wondering what you guys/gals were talking about....He
seemed to fall back like most other vehicles...after 3rd gear
(75 mph) he was about 3 car lengths back and falling...

I did bite off more than I could chew a few weeks ago...
Another mustang I thought... AHHRH a Saleen... I went
from 2nd to 4th...and let it go... I'm not up to that level YET! :)

If anyone is interested, there's a '96 Dakota short 'bed'
for sale here in the local Auto/Truck trader... Brand new,
$400.00 (white) with bed liner... I'll find the number for anyone
interested...(It's in San Diego, CA.)
